Project of energy efficiency and circular economy in tourism companies within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union - NextGeneration-EU

A project to improve the energy efficiency of the camping Acedo in Acedo (Navarra), intended for tourist accommodation, has been implemented.

The actions undertaken are the improvement of the energy efficiency of the thermal envelope, the improvement of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in the thermal installations for heating and air conditioning and in the lighting installations.
As a result of the works carried out, the consumption of non-renewable primary energy has decreased by 78%, and CO2 emissions have been reduced by 12 Tn/year.
The project had a budget of 170,203.15 € and received a grant of 132,059.22 €, corresponding to the call for grants for energy efficiency and circular economy projects in tourism companies within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – NextGeneration-EU, financed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, and by the Department of Economic and Business Development of the Government of Navarra.
