If you are lucky enough to visit the area at the beginning of August, you will find yourself in the middle of one of the most eagerly awaited celebrations in Navarre: <strong>Estella's Patron Saint Festivities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When do they take place?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fiestas always begin on the Friday before the first Sunday in August and last for a whole week. They are days of joy, music, good atmosphere and citizen participation. Every morning, the running of the bulls runs through the streets of the town centre with excitement and large crowds.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Comparsas of giants and big-heads<\/strong>: The youngest (and also the oldest) enjoy the dances of the giants, which are part of the local folklore.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Musical performances<\/strong>: Local bands and orchestras animate the afternoons and evenings with open-air concerts.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pe\u00f1as and festive atmosphere<\/strong>The pe\u00f1as of Estella organise vermuts, popular meals and other activities that fill every corner with colour.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ideal to go from the campsite<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Camping Acedo is the perfect starting point if you want to enjoy the fiestas without the constant hustle and bustle.
